ML-supported Document Processing
- Interdisciplinary project of my studies (completed with grade 1.3), supervised by Michael Plagge (plagge.it)
- Developing a software solution for merging various invoices from print shops using Machine Learning and OCR technologies.
- My Tasks:
- Implementation of a 'Human-in-the-Loop' process via a website to monitor OCR performance.
- Quality assurance and validation of extracted data (date, supplier, print shop) to ensure integrity.
- Manual exception handling for documents not clearly classified by the algorithm.
- Goal Achievement: Provision of a clean database for calculating volume discounts.
